GT6 GT6+ water pump galleyway

I've pulled the water pump in my ongoing restoration and found that the galley way leading from the pump to the right side of the engine appears to be blocked. I should say the opening seems small to me, but I don't know what to expect so I am asking for advice. The attached pic shows the opening as a dark irregular shaped hole in the galley way. I would poke and prod to see but I've learned to ask before poking.

That looks right. Go ahead and poke a bit to get out any loose junk, and then flush it out with a good stream of water.
