In case you guys havent figured it out yet my 69 Gt6 is a complete basket case! But I saved it from the scrap yard! Anyways I have purchased a new starter for it and it should be here by the end of the week. I do not have any bolts to put it on. Do you guys know what size (length and diameter) nut and bolt I need to install it? I plan on changing the oil and filter as well as the plugs and see if she will fire! It hasent been started since 1986 (the last inspection sticker on it) I will keep you guys posted on what happens. (I have a fire extinguisher !)

You won't find bolts in 1/8 inch increments at your local hardware store either. Get 2 1/2 and cut 'em off, or it doesn't hurt to just let the extra hang, just make sure you anti sieze it so it won't rust. I would use a minimum of grade 5, I have grade 8 in mine, with fibre lock nuts.

You do know to have the plugs out and have light oil in the cylenders first, right?

I do, thanks for the reminder 71MKIV.
