I have a pair of seats from a GT6. One appears to be from a Mk2 (no headrest, no reclining, tilt base, with "perforations" in the seat and back middle sections) and the other seems to be from a Mk 1 (no headrest, no reclining, fixed base, but with "perforations" on the seat but unperforated straight pleats on the back).
Although the seats are useable at the moment they're showing wear and the foam is crumbling.
I need to re-do the seat covers and foams and any other internal bits, and need to know what to buy. Only full Mk1 or Mk2 sets are available. It seems to me that I could probably get away with fitting the Mk2 sets to what I've got.
Any opinions about whether the seat frames will allow that?
