Any of you guys have a good source for firewall/wiring harness grommets for Spitfires? I'd hate to reuse the crappy old ones on the JPS. Thanx!

Curious, are you rewiring and your new harness didn't come with grommets? Or are you just trying to change out the grommets on your existing wiring harness? That would be a challenge, but the grommets are available from TRF and Moss.
I have used Butyl Rubber ropes to mimic grommets in the firewall. It adheres to itself, can be smoothed over with spit, and stays permanently looking good. You can shape it to look as good or better than some grommets. NAPA sells it.

For black rubber grommets & plugs, don't omit to check the specialty fasteners aisle at Lowe's hadware.
They don't have any of the grommets with the solid center which you poke a smaller hole through, but they've got a good selection of large to small otherwise.
Also they have plastic & rubber plugs to replace the ones located here & there in the body. It was quick, cheap, & local for me to replace the plugs in the bottom of the GT6 trunk & tub a year or so ago by just getting them from Loew's.

Get yourself some rubber tubing & turn it inside/out,makes a great grommet!(slit it down the center THEN INSIDE/OUT)
