Some of you may be familiar with the Grassroots Motorsports Challenge (run by GRM magazine).
Each year entrants build a car for a sort of super-autocross and car show held at the GRM headquarters in Gainsville, FLA.
Cars are built on a budget that matches the current year (you can spend up to $2012 this year....excluding certain safety items). Some of the cars are pretty interesting while others are awful. But it's sort of entertaining.
One team is building an "Alpine/Tiger" this year.
