Grille

Hello

My car is in the paint shop and I am trial fitting all the bits ont the car. In doing this I have realised that there are no brackets on the bottom of the shroud to attach the grille. I have ordered some but I can't see how they fit without screws or rivets being visible from the front. Can someone enlighten me on how they are fitted? My car is a BT7.

Thanks

Myles

Rivets (flat/recessed head facing forward). There should be some evidence of where they were originally fitted.

Might have pictures...

Here you can see the front side of the rivets. They are flush with the front lip and will be covered up once the crome trim is pressed onto the flange.

Thanks for the picture - that makes it a lot clearer.
