Grille Badge Advice

Since I had to pull my grille to clean up the electrical connectors, I decided to replace my rather ratty original with a better looking aftermarket grille I have laying around.

My question is I need to get a new grille badge, since the old one does not want to come off, and I would like to get a good quality one (similar to the image). I got another one somewhere, and it is just terrible (other image). No depth to the badge at all.

I am hoping someone can recommend one of the vendors out there who has a good quality badge

I've been happy with the Moss badges, but for an alternative try NOS Locators, who have an eBay store. I've heard nothing but good things about their badges.

Ron, you can get the badge on ebay for 19 bucks. Don't know about the quality, but the badge looks nice.

I got one off ebay, I'll get a picture of it and put it here for you to see if you like the quality.

While it is not quite up to the standards of the original I found it to be passable.

I believe there is a surface scratch on the G - I should take better care of my stuff! It will buff out...

His stuff is ok, good vendor. Have used him.

Thanks guys,
I think I will give NOS Locators a go. I have gotten stuff from them in the past, and have had pretty good luck.

I figure if I'm not happy with it, it goes on my toolbox like the flat one in my original post. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

That silk screened piece of stuff on mine is gonna get removed, replaced with the NOS and then I'll take a mallet to it. There's no place on MY toolbox for poorly counterfeit badges. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif
