Hello Fellow Forum Members,
As a long time LBC addict I feel fortunate to have found this site. My affliction dates back quite a few years. A brief history of ownership:

(I also owned a number of Corvettes and Z Cars, but we all know these aren't really Sports Cars.)

Having been deprived of ownership for too many years, I recently purchase a 1967 TR4-A. Purchased from original owner/buyer who picked up the car at the factory in Coventry in May, 1967. It has been meticulously maintained and restored as needed and includes all documentation including original bill of sale and service coupon booklet. I consider myself fortunate to have found the car and have thoroughly enjoyed driving and tinkering for the few weeks I've had it. It is not quite show quality but a fantastic driver. I finally got around to taking pics and they can be seen at 1967 TR4-A.
I'm looking forward to participating in the Forums and hopefully being able to pass on some knowledge and experience to others (as well as receiving plenty of same)

I re-sized it and up-loaded to my server and edited the URL. For best display on most common browser resolutions, a width of about 550 pixels is best.

Got two already on it and they need rebuilt. Also have a Ruddspeed tricarb manifold sitting in a box. Can't decide which to use when I rebuild my engine. What do you have in SU's?

Actually it is fitted with HS6's - I believe from the factory. I understand that Strombergs were standard on 4A's but I have seen quite a few with SU HS6's. Do you know if the SU's were a factory option on the 4A?

Thanks for the kind words. It is IRS with overdrive. Also fitted with a 1967 Blaupunkt AM/FM/SW radio - dealer installed I do believe. The radio is one of the few things not working. If anyone could offer repair advice, it would be much appreciated.

Glenn, is CTC76828L0 really what you intended for your display name? What is that, your vin number?

It was my plan to use the VIN # as an identifier for the forum (I have only one LBC, unfortunately). Would there be a problem with that? Thanks

Glenn, You can call yourself whatever you want (well, as long as its clean), I was just wondering if that's what you really had intended.
 
Thanks for the kind words. The tires are Michelin 165-15 XZX's. I appreciate the comment about the steering wheel - I consider myself a purist, but the car came with the Moto-lita fitted so I just left it there for the time being. On the up side, the car also came with the original wheel and it is in pretty good shape.
