Hello everybody.

I am not an owner of a British car, but have admired MGs and Triumphs from afar for many years. Growing up, my dad was always working on a Lancia or two, and we loved those cars, but the little roadsters were always more to my taste, and are a bit more practical/achievable now, given my circumstances. My goal is to self-educate for awhile and make a good buying decision in the next few years, when the time is right. Something I can drive as often as weather permits, but that I can learn to maintain and restore to the extent possible. Registration on this site represents my first toe into the waters.

(For the record, My grandmother owned an MG TC in the fifties. That was way before my time, but to my knowledge she never loved a car more. So the enthusiasm comes from somewhere. I'll post a picture when I can find one.)

Thanks to all for maintaining the site and sharing your knowledge.

Ted
