Name's Chuck, and my 79 B is in more or less in original condition. Very little rust, I've owned it now for a year and am loving it, but this isn't my first, at one time or another, I've owned a 56 MGA, a 75 Midiget, a 59 (I think) Austin Mini Cooper S, a Sunbeam Tiger, sometime during my high school years there was a TR3 and a bugeye... And probably several others I've forgotten.. In 69 years, I've never owned an American car...

i enjoy reading and seeing what other owners have, have done and what problems others have encountered. I have no problem offering my two cents when I think it's needed.

Here's a few photos... In no particular order... I had to put a whole new suspension under the old girl, front and rear, along with all new brakes, front n rear. The fuel tank and fuel lines were toast, as was the Zenth S. Carb and pump, the use of Ethanol fuel just ruined the whole fuel system... Rather than fight any one part, I just replaced the whole thing from tank to carb.
im working on the interior now, just took delivery of Moss seat foam and webbing, still looking for the "right material" for the seats! Something that will not set you butt on fire after sitting under the S. Nevada sun for an hour like leather or vinyl... Some kind of cloth maybe... Still looking.

any and all suggestions are welcome.

Chuck
