Hi everyone,

I'm Dave and new to this forum. I am a regular on Minimania's forums since I am more of a Mini guy I guess. I have a 1960 Mini MKI, a 1981 Mini convertible and a 2003 MINI Cooper S but am interested in British cars in general.

When I was 9 years old, my parents bought a brand new Ford Cortina (the only year they were imported to the US)...that was the first new car they ever had. Needless to say I have been into British cars since.

Welcome from me too and from the other side of the state. I am from the Quad cities area. I have a Bugeye but am in the proces of restoring a '75 mini. You gotta love the little British cars.
