Hi guys - checking in from Amsterdam and Den Haag (The Hague).

Lots of classics over here, in fact I've seen more here than in last visit to London. No Triumphs however, but more Volvo Amazons and Citroen's than you can shake a stick, or wooden clog, at.

Wonderful place, wonderful people. Highly recommended...

Inane Triumph questions to resume upon my return. See ya!

This was a great square in Den Haag - may not look like it but this was taken at 10 PM.

(and yes, I've been behaving myself)

   Is he a married guy??

I was there for a week in December. Not as warm as now, but a wonderful place, nonetheless.

You are making me homesick!

My family is from South Holland. It's been ten years since I went back. This summer it will be just too expensive.

I was in The Netherlands on business about 1976 and was travelling by train with my wife and our company salesman for Holland. We got off in Hilversum to visit the Philips factory but my wife stayed on the train to Amsterdam. Our sales agent told her when she gets off the train in Amsterdam, to exit the station on the right to go to the Van Gogh museum. But she went left and guess where she ended up ? Yes, you guessed it. She's a great looker and got a lot of scary requests.

my question is "why?"

In town for business - stayed over an extra day to take in the city.

Amsterdam is a great town to walk in. There are great neighborhoods with lots and lots of cafe that are on beautiful canals. The Jordaan area specifically was great.

I can understand why you would be homesick for such a great place.

Have I mentioned again that the people are fantastic?

My Brother & his wife just got back from Amsterdam about two weeks ago and took these shot of the tulip fields.

.Enjoy!

Or smoke from weed burning?
