It was restored and owned by Jim Wojcik. He is/was a long time club member in the Minnesota Austin Healey Club. I have not talked with him in a couple of years now but think he is still a member. He was looking to sell it for college tuition for I think his daughter. It is a very nice car and had been eyeing it myself but at the time did not have enough $$. The sale price was not exactly set at the time when he was thinking of selling it, maybe 2 or so years ago but it was not going to be near what they have been trying to sell it for now. It has been on e-bay advertised for at least 6-9 months now.

Maybe you want to look at this one too a Phase one BJ8

Datson engine listed on Craig List in Loomis California Just over $25K--WOW

Superficially at least it looks like a very nice car, with some nice goodies such as the triple Webers. The colour scheme and interior is of course non original but looks quite nice if originality isn't an issue. My concern would be the frame. Are those holes in the chassis rails?

Do you have a link to the current CL listing?

NO Rick I do not.-Keoke
