Took the front suspension off the new 1966 Sprite project car yesterday to send to my buddy in Franklin Tennessee for his Bugeye restoration. Cleaned things up a bit and to my surprise I found that both steering arms had a fair amount of green paint on them. Looks to be about the same shade of green that some of us found on our front springs. I've seen several yellow arms but this is the first time I've seen green ones.

Hi Ray,
I found Green on the steering arms on my '64 MkIII when I rebuilt the front end. It appeared to be original. Sort of a bright green. I posted a thread about it last year some time.
Cheers,

It is my understanding that the early ones (up to late 63) had yellow arms then they went to yellow sides with a green stripe on them in later ones. They might have gone totally green later.
