I am replacing a couple of burned-up, fried green power wires to the heater switch and reverse/neutral safety switches. They were shorted to ground and had to be removed from the new harness. I will run (2) new green leads from fuse panel to these switches....should #12 gauge wire be used?

BWG goes by the number of strands in the wire, I think British wires web site gives the BWG to US wire crossover chart

12 gauge (AWG) will be fine. Actually, I think those wires are closer to 14 gauge.

:iagree:
Tho I usually use 14 just because it's easier to work with and I've got a 1000' spool of the stuff
