Great Sunday Drive /Jay Leno sighting

We suddenly went from sub-freezing temperatures to just about Summer weather here in So Cal. And just in time for a club event, too!

Yesterday (Sunday) we took a group of MG TCs through the Santa Monica Mountains and it was simply gorgeous. During a break on top of a pass, an Ariel Atom pulled up driven by Jay Leno. Our line of MGs immediately caught his eye and he came over for some tire kicking. Great guy. I only regret not getting a photo for the club newsletter.

Sweet!...Where'd the Vette and lowered Benz come from?

The Mercedes was already there. The Vette pulled in with a Ferrari and a Porsche. Here's the only photo I have with them in it. The Porsche is hidden behind.

Those cars weren't the attraction thanks to the MGs, and then the Atom. They may as well have been econo-boxes.

So Steve,

Are you too good to hang out with
us low-lifes now that you're "rubbin' -
- shoulders with the stars"?

I've been on ET before. Unfortunately I was behind the camera, not in front of it! LOL!

Doug, you're welcome to come over to my mansion jr, jr, jr any time. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

All those cars and look what he drives for fun. Good taste.

Actually, he drives almost all the cars and motorcycles for fun. Last Sunday he showed up at a car meet I was at in his "Tank Car"

Wow! something like that would never happen here. that's really cool. I'd love to be able to meet Mr. Leno. But I'd really like to do it as car guy to car guy, not fan to Celeb.
Just the pics of those beautiful TCs was worth the post. Thanks for sharing!

Of course you did tell him about BCF, right? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

He's on my list of people like Paul Newman,
Bob Lutz, etc.,who when you meet them, forget that they're
