Great Ride in CT

Just wanted to share the great ride I took with my wife last tuesday in Litchfield Ct.
The TR6 performed absolutely flawless /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif
This is the 1st real ride we have taken since the new 5 speed was installed....((feels like a different car))
We put on a little better than 120 miles.

We went to the covered bridge in Cornwall, had a great lunch and just really enjoyed the entire day of driving around the Nutmeg state. If your ever in the neighborhood, I recommend a nice drive in the northwest hills of Connecticut. Stop talking to us and start talking to her. It will be a beautiful day for a ride through northeastern CT and central MA. You could take her back through Sturbridge Village and have a nice dinner and then get back on to 84 to return home.

I grew up in Easton, CT and drove my TR6 through much of the CT countryside as a eighteen year old.

I used to live in Stamford - raised in Glastonbury - and I fondly remember back roads in CT being perfect for top down motoring...

I couldn't agree with you more. I love going from the northern or southern western woodlands of RI into the back roads of CT. Especially in the early fall on those warm sunny afternoons.
