Attended the start Saturday 1st car out 10 am other than host hotel downtown a ghost town 8am things changed quick snapped pics cars leaving hotel to stage 150 side by side with large crowd made for fun in the sun. Still editing video footage great V8 stuff for later. 300+ pics snapped may be best to use slideshow function to view. Steve Hedke in Red Studebaker was 4th car out honor to So Cali resident (1st last yrs winner 2nd Hemmings 3rd Hagerty) Enjoy!

great pics- not sure whether to be more impressed by the exotics or the more mundane (Volvo Amazon Wagon/ Jeep Cherokee ) - I think mundane
 
Thanks choice is yours impressed by those that took on the endeavor 9 days 2300 miles as a moving mass of cars & people the route/places they'll traverse https://www.greatrace.com/route suto transporters delivered most to Riverside like Datsun entry from Japan on last page of pics prior to taking off for their start time it was announce over PA system prior entrants in red Great Race 2019 hats just arrived 30 minutes before take off drove 3000 miles minimal stops from Carolinas
