This may be old news, but I just found a great new search engine that compiles craigslist, ebay and hemmings from all around the country. It lets you search for cars, trucks, bikes, boats etc. too.
Go to www.jaxed.com/cgi-bin/mash.cgi I tried it and it really works!
 
wow. incredible tool. I have always thought it would be great to be able to search all local craigslist listings at once. This is one step in that direction.
