MGA Grease axle stub before reinstalling hub on a MGA

Guys - check the manual but didn't see this in there. Does the axle stub/shaft that the front hub slides over need to be greased or is it a dry fit?

Put grease on it, Tom. If for no other reason than to have a moisture barrier.
