Granny's Car

Nice car, but the wood console/dash would have to go. Looks like a Conestoga wagon!

That's a premium for an unrestored car. You'd expect everything to be in very good nick, ready to drive for that price.

Interesting. :yesnod:

Only the dash was originally wood, top cap and center console were black molded plastic.

That's CHEAP for a late S-2 drophead with the claimed mileage. It had to have been snapped up quickly.

That's a bargin! Easy to replace the wood stuff and go back to original. Dash, dash pad, and console all available to bring it back. Hard to know exactly what you have without crawling all over it, but it's still a bargin.

Doc,

You have $25K i can borrow?I'll pay you back ...someday.
Otherwise it's all your fault that I don't buy another one.

I'll just have to deal with th' guilt, Doug.

No worries, I'll jus' go sit inna corner an' suck me thumb. Works alla time.

Well no wonder you gotta do it all the time. You are doing the wrong thing. Get into one of your loti wiggle the wheel back and forth, and make car noises. Much Better!! See?

For the sake of comparison, there was a 1990 Miata for sale at the Milwaukee auto show last weekend, less than 1,000 genuine miles and mint, but come on, it's a used car for goodness' sake and it was the base model as well.... How much? Asking price was $14,995!!! They'll be owning that car for a long time to come at that price!
