Just watched part one.

Equal parts gruesome and fascinating

worth a watch

OK, ended up watching it through - riveting

I won't ruin it for others, except to say that the final five minutes or so are heartbreaking to watch.

Yes they are

The opening segment where they talk about von Tripps and Clark at Monza was talked about during the F1 race yesterday at Monza. But, they said that the one vying for the championship with von Tripps was Phil Hill, not Clark. Both drove for Ferrari that year. Hill won the championship. The commentators also talked about how deadly the fifties and sixties were in motor racing.

had to watch all 4 parts. Amazing stuff.

BTW, here's the video with all four parts put together. 59 minutes worth. I can send anything from my computer to my TV, so I just got done watching the whole thing on the "big screen".

As mentioned earlier, the end is heart wrenching.
