My 17 yr old daughter is GRADUATING! Yeah! And she says that I am mean everytime I tell her that when she is 18, my feduciary responsibilities ends  on that day. Boy is she in for a dramatic change in life. Now the kids today when they turn 18 are forced into taking rsponsibility for themselves. Mortgage (rent) food, turn the dam lights off when you leave a room! Now you pay for that electricity. And whats with the shampoo & conditioner? Now you will have to supply your own! Learn how to make a bottle of that stuff last 2 weeks, not 2 days. Yes, the graduating classis in for a reality check, and my feduciary responsibility ends. SO the next time I buy another LBC and you say "What do you need that for? I need new designer shoes!" Remember, we buy those things because its inventory! (and we also enjoy driving the LBC's)

Dave, I'm confused. Are you being sarcastic?

Honest with a hint of sarcasim.

Harumph! GOOD LUCK with that!
I myself and almost everyone I know are supplementing their children's income. It seems jobs are such that they simply do not pay enough to sustain even a modest living these days.
Of course if you are lucky enough to have two thirty year old going on fifteen kids it makes the situation almost unbearable.
Of course if you are not already divorced and looking to become as such you can facilitate yourself simply by firmly putting your foot down ... Hahahahahahahahaha!

Years ago, more than I care to remember, I knew someone who on high school graduation day found her bags set out on the porch. Her father told her she was an adult and no longer lived there as adults do not live with their parents. She ended up getting married that week because she and her boyfriend didn't know what else to do.
