After taking the trans plate off 5 to 10 times, studiing it afraid I might break it, and posting the ? bout how to unhook it, I got the #@$%^ thing out. If you pry the plate up from th cog, there is a pin that extends down into the pin connected to the shaft that goes to the wipers. Lifting the plate disengages the pin, releasing the shaft. All that said, the bugeye is strippeddddddddd, and going to the body shop tomorrow. Next ?, should I upgrade to a 68 or later pedal master cyl. set? I have all the parts. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Why, you going to race it? Standard brakes in good condition are fine for street use.

KC, to install the later master cylinder setup requires cutting the footwell area around the cylinder tray.
If you have discs on the front already, there is nothing wrong with the tandem master setup of the early disc brake cars.
