This is nothing more than a tear down and cleaning at this point anyway.

I do note that the nasty one needs the throtle shaft resleaved or in this case sleaved as it is a bit oblong, the clean one prob needs the same but is not nearly so bad.

OK, person who shall remain nameless and got me into this how do I get the bodys sleaved for new shafts and how do you polish this nasty stuff. The rebuilding is not a problem at all. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

i have a cleaner set of H1s (i think)....
if anyone wants to buy them........
they were in my car (the trunk)
when i puchased it....zzimmmy

Mine are clean enough now, I just would like to know how to polish them and get the throtle shafts done.

Jack, please abondon them, they look bad and there are alot better available.

If not get them rebushed and rebuilt, there are a few reputible places.

I recommend a better donor since they are probably badly pitted on some critical internal points as well.
