A focusing rail. From what I've found so far with "accessory" stuff, the Neewer offerings have been just fine for the intended purposes. This one hasn't got any scalar indexing but for anything macro, I'd have some scale reference in the shot anyway. I can couple this with the 40mm Micro or the old AI 55mm Micro on a bellows and approach micrography imaging.

A "Quick-n-Dirty" shot with the 40mm, tripod, lit with an LED flashlight to one side. Full frame, scaled down.

Neat toy! I have a few Neewer items, most recently I acquired a leveling base which I bought to help ensure my set up is perfectly level while taking panos. It has three adjustable dials with a bubble level that allows you to dial in perfect leveling, which is important when taking panos if you want to accurately stitch the shots together in post.

I've been impressed with their stuff. Got their remote flash triggering units for those Vivitar 285's I modded with the variable output, to light interiors. They do the job well and for reasonable money. Another is the IR remote shutter release. Not disappointed and will go for anything they sell if it meets a requirement I've got. πŸ‘
