Got my vinyl for the dash

My wife and I went down to the city after work and stopped by JoAnn's fabrics for some vinyl. I certainly felt a bit out of place, but I now have 4 yards of decent black vinyl for the dash and other assorted bits.

After that, we went to Home Depot and bought acetone and a BBQ grill (Weber model for use with real coals). I joked that buying some man-stuff was necessary after the trip to the fabric store. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Next week should be dash painting and re-covering time, then it's time to get serious about the gauges.

I used the same fabric from Jo Annes for the console on my MG. Get a can of 3M's 77 spray on glue from Home Depot and have at it - works great!
