Many problems with a 1978 MG midget. It really has not run well in 6 months. I used hylomar on the manifold gasket for the weber carb-no leaks, also had to set the float level on the new carb-it was off and flooding. I installed a Flame-thrower elec Distributor, timed it and it runs and starts well. I was having trouble with the carb float, the leaks in the manifold and the distributor. It got confusing because of the many problems at once. Thanks for the support on this site. Jim
