I guesss I just bought a TR250 on the auction site. I am sure I will have a few questions, I came here as a Healey guy, but the Healey is sold, hope the TR fraternity will accept me into the fold, I had 4A for many years and loved it, but was looking for something a little different.

I am sure I will have questions as I get into it, I am not so familiar with the 6 cylinder and the IRS (the 4A was solid axle).

Congratulations on your purchase. I see you had a '54 100. I have one in my garage that will start getting attention when I'm finished painting my TR3.
I really enjoy riding with the windshield raked down. Fun car.
I'm sure you will find this forum very helpful.

I'll get some pics when it arrives, I would have loved to have kept the Healey and gotten the TR250 but the old bugaboos time, space, money, or ignoring those concerns and lawyers/divorce.

I cannot fault your choice in cars! Nothing sweeter than the sound of a TR250 in full roar.

Which auction and how far is the 250 travelling to get to you? Any other info? year colour etc.
 
Car is red, project, but purportedly runs and drives well with good oil pressure. It has rust in the pper rear fenders and upper outer rear shroud as is typical for these cars, but frame is supposed to be rust free and rest of the car pretty clean. Will need paint and interior, I will of course do a thorough look at the mechanics, brakes and suspension. Seats look good, it is coming from the east coast to the middle of the country, Nebraska.

Maybe get it next week, still working out details.
