Good place to shop for old bikes

Anything good besides E-bay and craigslist for old bikes?, I am starting to get an itch for something from the late 60s to early 80s era (before all the bikes became either cruisers or crotch rockets)

Only other place I can think of is to find the appropriate forum for what you're looking for and watch there. Get the word out in the community and a bike may just find you.

I see that you are in Nebraska, where? I'm outside Omaha.

the biggest dealer in classic Brits is just over in Iowa, Baxter cycle.

Hey Richrd, sorry, obviously haven't been to the Motorcycle forum for a while, I am in Lincoln, didn't know about Baxter, do they have a website that you can see some of their bikes on?

glemon, yes, baxter has a website but they do not post all the bikes. they keep 70+ bikes for sale ranging from projects to total restores and once in a while a new in the crate find.

they're 51 miles east of the mo. river of I80 or about 100 miles from you.

what are you looking for?

I'm up in springfield with a garage full of bikes trying to make room for an mgb.

Well the subject here is British Bikes, but I am probably more interested in Japanese 70s through early 80s.
