Came across this heat insulation product after my source
for reasonably priced Dynamat could not ship due to supply
issues. It's a closed cell product only 3/16 thick and
very easy to install and work with. Also very inexpensive
compared to Dynamat. Not trying to go on the cheap for my
BN6 but this really has worked out well. Take a look
at their website - www.harboursupply.net - and go to
the automotive products. Don't have any connection to these
folks but know many of us are always looking for ways to
defeat the Healey heat monster.

Mike

Mike,
I'd recommend using Dynamat or some similar product under the Low-e insulation. The low-e will not water proof the metal nor act as a sound deadening product.

I used it in place of Jute. Jute absorbs water and will mold.
Low-e insulates and is does not absorb water.

I used the Low-e over Dynamat.
Together, they have made a BIG difference in keeping the heat down.
