Arlo and Pete - priceless! We all need more of this...

I heard Arlo do this one solo, probably just a few years after that video was recorded. Same intro, too funny.

I grew up on Pete and Arlo.

Thanks!

The kids and I just "re-discovered" Pete Seeger's "Children's Concert at Town Hall". I loved the LP as a child; mine are enjoying it as a CD. ("Here's to Cheshire, here's to cheese, here's to the pears and the apple trees ... and here's to the lovely straaaaawberries" We love singing that on road trips. And it is really funny hearing a 4- and 6-year old explain their interpretation of the song - it is about a frog getting married to a mouse, but then both die, and there "won't be any tadpoles covered in fur".)

Highly recommend this as a christmas / birthday / etc. present for little ones.
