Not sure if this appropriate here, but I need a good auto body welder. I need a roof welded on to a 65 Ford Falcon. Can anyone suggest a welder in my state?

Driving under low truck trailers will increase the need for a body roof welder, I've been told....

I posted to talk to Dave (Toc) and it didn't show
It is a Ford.
He likes Fords
I think he welds

Nah. I don't weld....have a torch anymore it about it.
Doing a roof on a unibody is a tad involved, as most open car LBC guys know.
What happened to your roof?
You taking it off at the posts?
Pulling windscreen and backglass?
Gutting the interior to prevent forest fires?
Welding braces across door openings to keep it from folding up?

You're going to be down for a while.

I used to know guys who did that..all gone or retired.

Damage? Rust?

A little more info. I bought this car over 30 years ago. When I bought it, the right pillar on the passenger side was hit. Had a friend help me push the pillar out with a jack, and unfortunately the entire roof was buckled in the process. The windshield never did seal correctly after that either. I think the roof is still high on the passenger side where it was hit. I have someone who has a donor roof I can get for $90. I figure it would be easiest to just replace the whole roof at this point, but really not sure where/how to do this.
