As some of you know and some don’t of course, I am part, a small part of the Golden Jubilee (50th) committee, which is going to be a non profit get together of Sprite & Midget owners in 2008 to celebrate the event..

Toward that end, planning is well underway and we need some input from you folks in order that we may do our job better and make the event more fun for all concerned. Now you know why I have been thinking trailer.

I need to ask some questions. I ask you to copy them to an email to answer or comment and then send them to Spridget50th@hotmail.com this is an address only for this survey.


1. If the event was held in mid USA, June or July 2008 would you attend?

2. September or October? Remember school.

3. May or June ? Remember school.

4. How many folks would be in your party?

5. What kind of a vehicle would you bring?

6. How long should the event be? In days.

7. Should it be across a weekend or during the week?

8. Would children be in your party?

9. What would you like to see at the celebration? (Rally, Autocross, Concours?

10. How much do you think is reasonable for a hotel room? Awards Banquet dinner?




In addition please forward this survey to all your Spridget friends so we can get a rough magnitude of possible participants and their desires.

September or October, 2, My MINI or my Midget, coupla days, over the weekend, yes, yes, yes, no kids, 80 bucks, I like to eat.
 
Jack - my 2 cents. Would like to see the event in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, or Texas. Sept/Oct is the best but May/June is ok too. 2 adults, no children. 76 MG Midget. Over the weekend (Fri, Sat, & Sun). Participant judging car show, poker run, cruise, etc. Hotel $65 - $90. I have no idea what a banquet dinner costs.

But hay, this is a preaty big job for the committee, please take a minute to make your voice heard.
 
Yep is a long way away but we got to get started now and need your thought to do it right, remember it is not a commitment at all. There will be advance regesteration down the road a ways.

1-3; yes, 4; 2 to 4, 5; 58 Bugeye, 6-7; its all good(probably 3 days), 8; me (54 now, 56 then), 9; gotta have and autocross, 10; 50 to 80 a room. I hope to have everything together and sorted out by then. About the beer.

Seriously Jack, this is a great and noble undertaking, you will be keeping us informed in future when you're not driving Miss Agatha around?
 
I am only one small cog in the committee and we are really just getting going. ie, web site, location, etc etc.

All will be revealed in due time. ie when we have something to reveal. Remember this is a year and a half away at present.
