The Golden Gate Healey Club just made a run through Chico to New Clairvaux Winery and monastery, and I've been looking for some fellow enthusiasts, so I met up with them at the winery. Never in my life have I met a nicer, more welcoming group of people. Although everyone on the drive was in a big Healey, they all were quite happy to have someone looking to join and loved the bugeye. Apparently there are some Sprite owners in the club, but none could make the 2 day event.
I work retail, and frequently lose hope in people. Thanks to those I just met, the wonderful people on this forum, and Sierra Nevada Brewery, my faith in humanity remains intact. The British car community is like no other.
