going to Roebling Road this weekend

I will not make this race, prepping for the Gold Cup in a few weeks at VIR. Will hopefully make the the VDCA Finale in Dec. if the car behaves itself at VIR.

You'll love Roebling, it's a fast, nice flowing track, it has been my favortie track for many years. You'll like the VDCA too, they are a great group to race with.

Have fun, and good luck

I have raced at Robeling for years and really enjoy it. If the car behaves we also plan on doing the Gold Cup at VIR. We raced a '57 Corvette with VDCA years ago, but I'm not sure how they feel about this Greenwood car. I just need to find a good Spridget and race with you guys !

Yeah, and then we can convince them to have a vintage race at CMP again  You probably know Steve Collins, raced a 66 Stinray, I used to hang around those guys, Steve is now into airplanes. Also long time friends with another Corvette racer, Sam Henderson, he raced SCCA in Corvettes then GT1 tube frame cars. Mike Harrison, another Corvette guy that comes to mind.

Joe:

Will drop by and visit. I'll be there with quite a few of the Spridget racers.

John Hewell #29 Mk. II - Walhalla, SC
Bob Toler #01 Bugeye - Charlotte, NC
Pat Harris #8 Mk III - Anderson, SC
Dick May #69 Bugeye - Zirconia, NC
Numerous others too

Mike Miller
Comptune
#64 HP Spridget

look forward to meeting you, and hopefully all the Spridget guys. so there are two of you from Walhalla ? we plan on getting there mid-morning Friday.

Yep, Who would have guessed that Walhalla, SC would become the hotbed of Spridget racers in SC? John's the shop landlord and we both race. He's doing the test day on Friday and I'll show up early Saturday morning. I'm not racing again until the "Prodfest" at VIR a couple weeks from now. I raced Nationals this year and ran at Road America in the SCCA runoffs on 9/23. John and the others raced in the SARRC and are doing the SIC. See you there!
