I went to a small show this weekend, very small, in Nashville, TN. It was a JCNA Concours event, nevertheless only about 18 cars were there. Sad really, though I did get to see a fantastic XK150 in fine form and we met a customer there with one of our E-type 5-speeds in it, so I got to get some valuable photos for the our website. Also, I got to see the new XKR sitting next to a first gen car. It is IMPRESSIVE! The show was small enough the the road dirt covered XJ8 we drove to the show probably could have taken class as the only representative. I'm told the show last year was better attended.
I am planning to attend the JCNA event in Indianapolis. It promises to be a much better show with a lot more cars. We'll have an XJS there with our 6-speed, stainless exhaust, 17" rims and suspension bits. It's no concours car, but it is a blast to drive. The A/C is bit on the fritz, so we are hoping for window down weather. Anyone here planning to attend? I would love to meet some forum members face to face, maybe do dinner or something.
