Heading out tomorrow morning before the sun's up for Durham, NC to pick up a factory hardtop for my last MGB that doesn't have one! But, we're gonna make it a 'blue highway' trip....Gurley, AL - Dalton, GA - Dahlonaga, GA - Highland, NC (love that place!) - Chimney Rock, NC & then Durham.

Haven't figured out route home yet - but it'll be a different set of 'blue highways'.

Am taking lap top & GPS to lead me on all those back roads....Jerri wants to do some antiquing on the trip....me, I'll look for petrobilia (& MG's).

Talk with you guys tomorrow night from whichever hotel in whatever town we stop (if they have internet)....don't have to be in Durham until Wednesday.

Sounds great-- love those trips where the schedule is sorta loose and flexible. Which of the many vehicles?
 
I bet, I just bet it is the large pickup with the trailer.

After all you never know what might just drop off a flatbed with your name on it. Or be found lost along side the road looking for a good home.

this is for you guys who can't wait to retire, I retired 5 years ago at 56 and all of a sudden the honeydo list got really big and neverending. You think you will have all the time in the world to do what you want,you won't, as SWHTM will have her own agenda that will become yours also, HAHAHAHA
