Took my 78 MGB which is in very good condition but far from a show car to a local cruise her in NJ. Pulledin and saw cars that were Barrett-Jackson worthy. Anyway had fun and sur enough after tellin gthe kids we would not be going home with a trophy today, BAM! They called us. Kids were elated...go big british!

Good for you! That's kind of fun when you're not expecting it, right?

Absolutely. And to think we almost left early! One guy apparently had a 50something MG but I didn't see him and he left early. Only one other time in my car show goings have a seen an MG. Actually saw the same one i had in the british version (sterring wheel on the other side). nice ot be unique soemtimes!

congrats, great feeling aint it! happened to me too, March 2012, on my GT's 1st road trip after a 1 yr non-stop rehab. Went to a Brit car show in Orlando (600 mi round trip) and came home w/ not only no trouble but a class win to boot. what a surprise :encouragement:
