TR4/4A Glove box problem

I'm trying to fit the glovebox and there seem to be problems. In the first place the lock doesn't seem to fit right. The fork inside that secures to lock to the wooden cover does not lie flat on the cover, the finger pull won't go into the hole with the lock and I can't seem to get the catch installed properly so the door is secure when it closes. I might have parts that came from a metal dash car. Scott from Team Triumph sent me a catch but it doesn't line up with the lock.
A picture would be great.
Much appreciate anyone who can answer this.

Hope this helps:

Al,
you are correct that there are at least two different versions of the locks and finger pulls.

My lock doesn't fit like yours in the picture. A picture of the catch would also help me line it up correctly.
Thanks

Hi and thanks but I was interested in the catch on the inside of the glove box where the lock stricker hits and latches

Here is a slightly fuzzy picture from my disassembly. I can take an assembled photo tonight. The latch is a little "fussy", and required some bending to latch. It is not as smooth as my modern cars - but totally functional.
