I used .093 lexan, and it seems to be sufficiently rigid. I would like to apply a thin spacer along the upper and lower edges of one panel to minimize the panels scraping on each other when sliding. Thinking of using a narrow strip of the aluminum foil tape (not regular plastic fiber "duck" tape) used to seal sheet metal to sheet metal joints in A/C ducts. Any thoughts?

I wonder if there isn't some kind of "button" that would glue to one panel and provide the seperation wanted without taking up as much space? Or, perhaps the fuzzy half of Velcro. I have used some self stick bits of that stuff for different things. Teflon would be great of course, but nothing sticks to it. Well, there was my ex-wifes cooking, but I don't have that formulation. Just some random thoughts, Good Luck
