I am installing new windshield and rear window (surrey) weathership and seals on my TR4. I assume that Seelastik M1 is no longer available, what should I use for a sealant.
I just replaced the windscreen seal on my TR6 and did not use any sort of sealant. The seal has proven to be good using both a garden hose as well as on the road in rainstorms. I don't believe it's absolutely necessary.
Permatex makes a windshield and glass sealer part number 65A. It is a clear, flowable silicone sealer. Just about any auto parts store should have this.
