1959 Giulietta. $50 bought it out of a field in Colorado around 1969-70. my mother did all of the interior and my father and I did all the rest. We even stuck a 1963 motor in it. Earl Schieb did the paint. Last car I got to help my father do.

Polaroid picture from 1973-74. My mother in the background.

That's great!

1300? Solex or Webers?

For years I passed one of these cars (exact same color) pakred in an open carport in Clinton, SC. I was always tempted to stop in an inquire about it, because it never moved. Several years ago, the car disappeared and a Datsun 280ZX was in its place??????

1600 Solex. Thing would chirp the tires shifting into 4th. My father sold it after they moved back to Wichita, Kans. I blame it as the reason I don't do body work.

Thanks, Steve - lovely exhaust note there.

And the driver of the #4 2000 (2600?) does fill the seat, doesn't he? :smirk:

I just had to do this!!

But, soft! what headlight through yonder window breaks?
It is the east, and Giulietta is the sun.

O Romeo, Alfa Romeo! wherefore art thou Alfa Romeo?
Deny thy father and refuse thy name

So Romeo would, were he not Alfa Romeo call'd,
Retain that dear perfection which he owes
Without that title. Alfa Romeo, doff thy name

I take thee at thy word:
Call me but love, and I'll be new baptized;
Henceforth I never will be Alfa Romeo.

"A plague on both your houses", Pete!
