Hi,

After 10 years I'm back to working on the Healey, a 1967 BJ8, and I'd like your advice. I need rotors and front wheel bearings and was considering Mo*s as the source. Are the rotors of high quality, they seem pretty inexpensive? And I can't tell by the illustrations but are their hub bearings tapered rollers (that's what mine are now) I need inner, outer and the races.

Thanks for any advice.

Assuming your bearings are original_Then order them directly from the bearing house whose part number and name is on the bearing.

The Moss' parts quality is fine. IMHO it's a good thing to help keep our suppliers in business, rather than ordering from, say, Timken. Just my two cents.

I just replaced my bearings last year and wanted to use a quality made in USA product like Timken. Guess what. they're made in China now. Had to go to Peter C. at Worldwide Imports to source me some NOS ones made in the USA. Maybe the Chinese made stuff is fine, but on wheel bearings I didn't want to take a chance.

Moss puts rotors and other braking components on sale now and then. I bought some years ago for eventual use; they're Brembo.
