MGB Getting [another] MGB!

I have had eight or nine MGBs, but have not had one for about three years. I've had the good fortune to have been motoring around in a Morris Minor Traveller. Traveller is going to California and being replaced by a Riley Elf. I digress.
A friend has an MGB/V6 project that needs to be finished. I have experience with engine transplants, and he has asked me to finish this project. He also has an extra '69 roadster that will be mine for finishing the V6 project. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me. I get to work on an MG and get paid with an MG. Guess I'll be spending more time on the MG forum, and posting progress pictures.
Just be careful with the Triumph bashing, I have a Stag and a Herald. (and an Austin Mini and the Riley and a '34 english Ford. Happiness truly is owning an english car, and I'm pretty darn happy)

Triumph bashing? Don't worry about it from this guy. I wouldn't mind a Stag and a matching Spit. In fact you'll probably catch more grief for the V6 swap!

I was asked if I would like to buy the V6 project before he decided to get it finished. I politely declined. Nothing sings like a properly tuned Brit motor (Although I do like the throaty rumble of the Ford 289 in the Stag)

I would imagine that does sound nice...just thinking about it makes we want to go get the Mustang running!
