Getting a harness plug through the firewall.

This is the plug that connects to the Windshield washer motor. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to get it through the firewall. The other end is connected to the harness under that dash. I do not want to cut the wires & have tried every angle to push it through. Is this a common enough connector, that I can go to Radio Shack & buy a connector removal tool.

Walk away from it, try again after a few minutes and it slips right in.
I don't know why, but it always works the second time.
Every time I do that plug I wonder.

Need to pull back outer sheathing, then put the 3 connectors in one by one, then the sheathing. To put the grommet on will be about the same, may want to boil some water in the microwave, then put the grommet in it for a minute or so, then pull grommet out with a needlenose pliers, will be soft enough to get over the connectors then.

Turn the connector 90', flatten the wires out as best you can to make a 90, and I think it will make it. I just fought this battle myself a few weeks ago.

Slow but steady wins the race. Plug is out and patience is all it needed. Thanks spritenut.
