Germs, mold, virus or what?

My 14-year-old daughter has been in the hospital for the
last almost 48 hours. Definitely has pneumonia, but the
doctors are unsure of the bug or germ at issue.

So, they've got her on three different antibiotics,
one or two intrvenously; other(s) pill form. She is
starting to feel better and her fever has subsided since
last night, so I think the regiment of medicine is
working.

They have also considered as a differential diagnosis
Valley Fever. Sounds not so bad, but hold on; if it is
Valley Fever, the antibiotics will be taken orally for,
I hear, like 18 months or some such thing.

It's hard to work on your car when you gotta be with
her at the hospital. Now, let's see, the car is kinda
small and her room is kinda big....no, no.

What if I just get it on the same floor, like right
next to the nurses' station....no no.

Got it! If I hoist the car to the roof with a Cherry Picker, I can always say I'm going for coffee and then...

Nawww. Might scratch it doing that. (Major Sigh!)
Guess I just have to wait till she gets all well or
something. If it doesn't happen soon, I'll have to go
back to the drawing board. Life just gets in the way
of workig on the car. Dang!

Sorry about your daughter, I hope she mends quickly.

Sometimes, working on the car is a great way to releave stress, I hope it works for you.

Best wishes. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Thank you so much for the kind words. We all deal with
issues in our own way, and you're right, putzing with
the car can be a good relief.

Wishing you all the best now and always,

Sincerely,
