Is comming to town in January! I saw him several years ago in Salt Lake City. Hope I can go to this show!

Great pianist.

Too bad his family made all those cigarettes.

One "youtube" comment on a George Winston video said it best: "How could we go from this to Lady Gaga?"

Basil, don't miss this show. He's really talented and his band is top notch.

Great jazz pianist, one of the best IMHO.

Let us know how the concert goes! :yesnod:

Sorry to hear about Billy! Winston in one of my favorite pianists! When went to see him in Salt Lake, you could hear a pin drop in the audience while he was playing, but the moment he would finish a song, the applause was explosive!

It's been way too long since I last saw George Winston in concert.

At one point during a concert I attended he casually mentioned it was his birthday. Everybody in the amphitheater started singing Happy Birthday all at once. It left him speechless.

pc.

Winston is very good ,but I tend to lean more toward Herbie Hancock style
