We had people over here just convicted of theft and murder from scoping out stuff just like this on CL

The Brooklyn Bridge has been in our family for years. I tried to sell it last year, but found out someone stole it. It's amazing just how many dishonest people are out there. Who would steal a bridge?

Hahahaha! I always have fun scouting craigslist for ridiculous postings. the free section is particularly rich in funny things. Usually the humor is in the grammar, or in the pure absurdity of the item, but this one was so silly I had to share. Real or not,(most likely not) trying to sell anything on craigslist for 7.5 million? Really?
I mean I know Elmira has a thriving drug industry, but I doubt it's that profitable. Besides, wanna bring down the local meth ring? just look for the dealer sporting a 29 Rolex.

banjo, i recently watches a judge judy t.v. court case about a low life that was selling cameras on ebay for $500.00, deep within the discription of the item it stated "you are bidding on this picture only what you see is what you get", the buyers got nothing but an envelope with a picture of said camera, with a smerk on her face the smart arse much too overweight scank seller tried telling judge judy that there was nothing wrong with what she was doing and that all the people that bought the item were just stupid, in this case the buyer produced evidence that "scank" had done this numerous times, was taken to court lost every case having to refund all previous sales, judge judy had flames shooting out of her ears and ripped the scank a new one. this should happed much more often... :yesnod:
