Generator for BJ8

I'm trying to find a generator for my '67 BJ8. No luck at the parts suppliers.
Too late for a rebuild: a heads up for others, the belt started to chirp and I ignored it as the noise went away when driving...this was an early warning that the generator bearings were wearing and it wasn't turning properly. After a long highway drive I pulled off the road and as I slowed and the highway noise no longer masked it I heard an ungodly screaming. Evidently I drove about 100 miles with the thing partly seized and put it beyond rebuild territory. Sharing in case this happens to anyone else.

Any one have a spare generator? I'd prefer to stay original, and not kluge in some kind of GM alternator workaround.

Hope someone can help.

I have a spare generator for a 67 BJ8.

I had the negative earth conversion done earlier this year and also had an alternator put on but being a hoarder of parts, I kept the generator.

Canada's a long way from Sydney though - I'd be concerned about the postage fee!

PM me if you're keen.

Rob

Thanks to both for the quick replies. Another feeler turned up a generator in my geographic area, so I am out of trouble again...too bad the cold weather is settling in!

Cheers, and many thanks,
Canuck
